Building lifelong relationships with women through the hope and peace of Christ.
The original vision was to rediscover true community, to say to women “you can live through your difficulties, you’re not alone!” In 1989 a group of friends living in Flagstaff were led by the Lord to launch a Christian Women’s Retreat, they created the largest retreat for Christian women in Northern Arizona. In 2017, a decade after the last retreat, the Lord once again moved in women’s hearts to re-launch… The Northern Arizona Women’s Retreat.
Northern Arizona Women's Retreat believes
Northern Arizona Women's Retreat also recognizes the Holy Scripture as the supreme authoritative guide for daily living.
President and Treasurer
Flagstaff has been home since 1997. I can now say I have lived in Flagstaff for more than half my life! I have met some wonderful women while living here and one, in particular, is responsible for introducing me to Jesus and helping me to understand what it truly means to have a relationship with him. I am a Mortgage Loan Advisor and enjoy helping home buyers navigate the process with love & compassion. My motto is "Loans With A Heart" as I feel that I can shine the light of Jesus by helping others achieve their goals and dreams. My husband and I are the proud parents of teenage triplets who keep us VERY busy going from event to event.

As a native of Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies, I was a first-generation college student and successfully completed my doctorate. I lived in Florida for 18 years before moving to Flagstaff in June 2019. I have been working with non-profits since the '80s and am skilled in training and development, diversity, equity, inclusion, human resources, and networking. I am happily married to Wallis Lea Kidd (a Royal Navy veteran) and have two adult children and three grandchildren. I found Jesus in 1989. Since then, "I wake up with a song in my heart for the Lord!"

I have lived in Flagstaff since 1960 and graduated from Flagstaff High School and NAU with a MA in Education. I have been in the real estate industry for 43 years and have been involved in ministry with the Flagstaff area churches for over 40 years. Five years ago my husband and I helped to begin Presence Community Church where we continue to lead and serve. We have two adult sons. I've also worked in ministry around the world with Prayer Watch International for the past 25 years. My heart is to see the Body of Christ to be unified even with our differences and my passion is mentoring Christians in their walk with Jesus through a deeper prayer life. Northern
Arizona Women’s Retreat makes my heart happy as we endeavor to unite women together for Christ!
Hospitality Chair
I moved to Flagstaff in 1985 to begin and co-direct a local chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). I worked with CEF in Coconino County for 20 years, getting to meet and work with several different churches with one common goal in mind—Jesus and children. My husband and I enjoy being outdoors and exploring beautiful Arizona. We are happy to have our three children, two sons-in-law, and six grandchildren living in Flagstaff. Most of my time is spent volunteering with MOPS, meeting with women, or hanging out with my family. I am passionate about connecting women to each other and to their Creator and am excited about serving on the NAWR board!

I established and now have been leading a mother of high schooler's prayer group for six years. I have hosted and co-lead numerous women's retreats and prayer retreats at our home as well as weekly prayer for our pastors. I currently work with Flagstaff MOPS as a Mentor Mom and am involved in a Flagstaff city-wide prayer meeting. I have been a realtor in the valley for forty years. We support missions throughout the world. I am fully committed to pray unceasingly for the Northern Arizona Women's Retreat.
Sponsorship Chair
I moved to Flagstaff 2018, I have lived in Flagstaff for a little over five years. I am a single mother of four older kiddos, I have three boys and one girl and am proud to be their mom. I am a dedicated woman of God. I have devoted my life to serve God and God's people in the community, in church, at my job, Nestle Purina and wherever the Lord places my feet to spread His Good News. I love to bring healing to the broken hearted and crushed in spirit. My passion is in the women of God and seeing them find healing in the Lord where there has been trauma and pain in areas of their lives. Serving on the Board is an honor. I am thankful to the Lord that He builds me into the community and continues to establish me into places I never saw myself going. I work in the Industry of Information Technology and that really keeps me going because God speaks my language, God speaks in codes (parables), so for me walking with Jesus is a journey full of adventures of breaking down codes and clues to find the hidden mysteries of God in my life (1 Corinthians 2:6-7)!

Marketing & Technology Chair
While born in Albuquerque, I have been blessed to call beautiful northern Arizona home since 1988 and graduate from Sinagua High School and NAU. I passionately and creatively share God's love with the youth in our community as a secondary teacher, youth leader, and volunteer. My husband and I are the proud parents of an amazing teenage daughter; together we enjoy the outdoors, attending community events, and spending time with family. In the Bible, Hannah's story most resonates with me and I feel closest to God during personal prayer walks in our beautiful forest.
